Video: Easy way to seam garter edges

If you are looking for an alternative to mattress stitch seaming, you are going to love this method!

Dog Days Blanket Pattern

I’ve figured out how to knit a blanket during the warm summer months: by knitting in columns, you never have a whole blanket in your lap while working on the project. Then, with a super easy alternative to mattress stitching even the seaming was fun. I used 5 different colors, staggered and balanced the color scheme, but you could alter it with a scrappy leftover look or whatever pleases your fancy. This was an absolute joy to knit up and seam and I hope you enjoy it too.

Pattern is released as free for an initial period.
