INTRO TO KNITTING

     Discover the relaxing and rewarding hobby of knitting in this complete

     beginner's course. Learn to knit Continental style as we cover the basic

     stitches, tools, yarn selection and reading patterns. No experience needed.

                           NOTE: No sr. waivers. Bring $20 to first class for materials, a notebook and pen. All

                           supplies/patterns will be provided, including yarn for an easy scarf project.

KNITTING IN THE ROUND ON  DPNS

     Ready for an intermediate level course? Have you avoided projects that ask for

     double pointed needles (DPNs) because you don't know how or it looks

     intimidating? Here's your opportunity to expand your knitting skills and avoid

     sewing seams. Start knitting a small drawstring pouch in the 1st class. 2nd

     class will give you a choice of working on your own pattern or patterns provided

     in class.

                           Must know knitting basics, such as cast on, knit, purl and bind off. DPNs will be

                           available to purchase in case you don’t have any.
