Home Alone Halter Top

Okay, so we may not all have the figure to wear this in public. But it is a great top
around the house too, so don’t count yourself out. Why? It’s comfortable to wear.
The garter stitch does a great job covering - so it’s not revealing or see-through.
And it’s cool which is important in the summer. And it’s comfortable. We all can
use a top like that. So go ahead, knit yourself one and wear it where you like!

French Heel Socks

If you know how to knit in the round and have been looking for an easy sock pattern to start your first pair of socks, this pattern is for you.

French Heel Socks incorporate a “French Heel” that is reinforced and are worked from the cuff down to the toe. It’s explained in baby steps so nothing is too overwhelming. Choose any color you what and add a stitch pattern if you feel like it.

This pattern was developed for a beginner sock class, so everything is explained, no abbreviations used and there are Youtube videos listed in the pattern for additional help.

Remember socks are not a difficult project, they just have multiple steps and by taking each step one at a time, you can do it!!

Tranquility Shawl

Here’s a lovely variation to ribbing that will give you hours of tranquility and Zen knitting. Pick a comfy yarn that you want passing through your hands and start knitting. I used a cotton/silk/viscose fiber that is wearable for many of the Southern months, but anything will do. Shown in two versions.
The shawl length on the left, and the scarf/cowl length below.
