The Raven Cowl

This pattern is named after the beautiful poem by Edgar Allan Poe. It has a reversible stitch pattern that is easy to memorize. Both sides look good which works great for cowls. I have pictured both sides in the pattern pages.

I hope you enjoy it as much I have designing and knitting it. Enjoy.

Cast Iron Handle Cozy Pattern

The biggest drawback to cast iron cookery is the handle heating up along with the

pan. Luckily, handles are pretty standard in size, so here’s a pattern for a wool cover

that makes it much easier to move the pan. Enjoy!

Pattern is available, free, on Ravelry.

Her career spanned from 1918 to 1968, and she is best known for her memorable performance in Alfred Hitchcock’s Lifeboat. This is a timeless, simple knit that is a great mindless project and a salute to a strong woman. Enjoy.

Video: Easy way to seam garter edges

If you are looking for an alternative to mattress stitch seaming, you are going to love this method!

Dog Days Blanket Pattern

I’ve figured out how to knit a blanket during the warm summer months: by knitting in columns, you never have a whole blanket in your lap while working on the project. Then, with a super easy alternative to mattress stitching even the seaming was fun. I used 5 different colors, staggered and balanced the color scheme, but you could alter it with a scrappy leftover look or whatever pleases your fancy. This was an absolute joy to knit up and seam and I hope you enjoy it too.

Pattern is released as free for an initial period.
