Beautiful Iceland Video

If you didn't make it to Iceland this year & love wool yarn, here's a  3+ minute video from Lopi Yarns on the process from sheep to finished yarn. The scenery is breathtaking, the animals well-cared for and an inside look at the process. Well worth watching.

Christmas Tree Card

To celebrate the upcoming holidays, here's a new pattern, hot off the press and again, FREE! Great for putting on tags as well, and if you make two, you can make a lightweight ornament. Best of all, it's fast and easy enough for beginners. And like potato chips, you'll probably make more than one. Happy Knitting.

Pearl Frost Scarf Pattern

The pattern is now available on Ravelry.com. It is currently FREE. This is a very versatile pattern. While this was knit with a bulky silk yarn, you can easily substitute a worsted weight and US8 needles without changing the pattern. (Width would change to about 7")

Who Dat Summer Shawl

To celebrate The First Day of Summer this month, this shawl pattern is free until the July 9th at

https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/who-dat-summer-shawl

The pattern is for a lightweight shawl that can even be worn in WARM weather. And if you are in Florida, like me, you probably feel like you’ve been celebrating Summer for a month now.

It provides instructions on how to convert a season of scores for your favorite team into a commemorative accessory. In my case, it celebrates the regular and post-season scores of the NFL New Orleans Saints in 2009 before winning the Superbowl (2010).

Crystal Palace “Country Silk” yarn is a non slippery, non shiny 100% silk that feels like cotton and wears comfortably.

Go Saints and Happy Knitting.
