This cast-on produces a beautiful edge to your work which is a refreshing change from Garter, Seed or Rib Stitch. It’s a six row cast-on and then you can proceed with your pattern (shown above with Stockinette stitch). There is only one row that involves turning and paying attention and I have divided it into sections and added stitch markers so you can keep track while completing the row.

Notes
- If you have done short rows or knitted
bobbles where there is turning back and forth in a row, you can certainly
leave out the stitch markers. They are there to help keep track of row 4
and are optional.
- Mark the right side of your work after row 1
with a split marker.
- Changing instructions for in-the-round involves
more than changing the multiple, Knits to Purls and visa versa. I will publish
these instructions when they are completed and tested.
